Evening all. As you know, a lot of players attempt to exploit our systems by downloading, using and utilising X-ray mods, or X-ray texture pack. An X-ray pack allows you to view selective ores, primarily diamonds, to cut the crap and get the good stuff. As you SHOULD be aware, X-ray packs fall under "client-side modding", which is in fact a bannable offense, unless you use the mods that we allow.
Here's the actual rule that refers to client-side modding:
9. Client-side modding is not allowed, except for special circumstances.
Client-side modding is the process of installing mods in your minecraft.jar file, in an attempt to modify the game in your favour. Illegal client-side mods include (but are not limited to): X-ray packs, speed hacks, flying mods and super-breaker packs. There are certain mods that are allowed, but always check with an administrator before installing a mod.
Punishment:
o First offence: Five day temporary ban, and all stats and money to be wiped.
o Second offence: Permanent ban.
That's just a guideline. In more severe cases we may instantly ban you, or give you upwards of a 7 day temporary ban. Please don't try and beat the system, we're banning X-rayers by the hour. We want you to be able to play Minecraft fairly, in a fun social environment. Cheaters and scammers ruin that atmosphere. Don't run the risk.
